Lotfi Ben Khelifa has been working as a journalist and film critic since the 1980s for daily newspapers in Tunisia. He holds a master's in journalism and information sciences. He covered many film festivals around the world such as Cannes, San Sebastian, Thessaloniki, Rotterdam, Milan, Mannheim, Cairo, Clermont-Ferrand, Marseille, and Ouagadougou. He participated as a FIPRESCI jury member in more festivals such as London, Toronto, Moscow, Fribourg, Carthage, Valladolid, Genevra, Toulouse. He is currently the President of the Tunisian association for the promotion of film critic (ATPCC).
